Cousin Genna on Coronado Beach, San Diego

I wore my Don't Worry Be Happy shirt on a day that I needed a little cheering up. My dear friend Camille took me for a picnic on Coronado island, and she also shared a couple of poems and quotes with me. This one really seemed to resonate with Kevin's motto...Get Busy Living!!! Thanks to Camille for the poem and for taking these photos, and of course thanks to Kev who continues to inspire us all.

I will not die an unlived life.

I will not go in fear Of falling or catching fire.

I choose to inhabit my days,

To allow my living to open to me,

To make me less afraid, More accessible;

To loosen my heart,

Until it becomes a wing,

A torch, a promise.

I choose to risk my significance,

to live so that which comes to me as seed,
